I sometimes wonder if this is a valid basis for a novel or life's work, but of course it is. I'm not the only one who this will help, and I'm not the only one who will understand and learn from it. I think there's something particular about being the daughter of a mother from a Spanish-colonized country, too, which makes it even more important to both me and my someday audience.
